Dr. Li Wei,  Chairman of the board

Graduated from Tsinghua University, Dr. Li Wei earned Master Degree from Zhejiang University and Doctoral Degree from Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology (SIMIT). Later he worked as assistant researcher and associate researcher in Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology (SIMIT). Since 2001, as one of the members of founding team, Dr. Li has established Shanghai Simgui Technology Co., Ltd with other members and worked as General Manager Assistant, Vice President and Secretary of the Board. Meanwhile, he also served as the researcher in Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology (SIMIT). Since 2015, Dr. Li served as Executive Vice-President of National Silicon Investment Group (NSIG). Dr. Li was elected Chairman of the Board in March 2017. Besides he also acts as the Vice Chairman of the IC Supporting Department of China Semiconductor Industry Association and Vice President of Shanghai Jiading Federation of Trade Unions. In 2016, Dr. Li was selected as the leading innovative talent working in science and technology by Organization Department of the Central Committee of the CPC.

Dr. Jeffrey Wang, CEO

Dr. Wang joined Simgui as CEO in January 2016. He was appointed as EVP of NSIG in April 2019. He is a semiconductor veteran with 29 years of experience in research and development, manufacturing, operation and corporation management. Prior to Simgui, Dr. Wang was President and Executive Director of Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (ASMC). He also worked as General Manager at ANADIGICS China Corporation, Vice President at Shanghai Belling Corporation, Senior Manager and Special Assistant to SVP of Operation at Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC). Dr. Wang began his career in the silicon valley of United States where he worked for Vishay Siliconix and Maxim Integrated Products. Dr. Wang holds a bachelor degree in physics and a Ph. D. degree in physical chemistry at Fudan University in Shanghai. He continued his education and research as post-doctor at Harvard University in Boston. Dr. Wang is a Guest Professor at Institute of Electronics and Information Engineering of Tongji University in Shanghai.
